[ the fact that solomon is a busy man does not mean that he can't take a break every once in a while to look at his new phone. though he had found his way to the group and had a couple of laughs, he couldn't help but shake his head as he read king gilgamesh's replies to him.
what a character. there was so much about him that the o5 could not understand, but it only piqued his curiosity further and further. the king of heroes was, no doubt, someone that had come into his life like a storm. and he had no plans of leaving either, from the looks of it.
but what he had not expected was for the demigod to make his way into his place (far too cluttered with paperwork from the winchester mission and rather humble for the man that boasts of the title of founder of the foundation).
or perhaps he had expected it, if his half smile was any indication--he wouldn't be as foolish as to accidentally ignore the king's message, after all.
he sets his pen down, standing up from his desk. ]
King Gilgamesh, what brings you here?

King Gilgamesh, what brings you here?

Really, though, he did concede the stack of work was likely due from being absent from the organization for twenty years. ]
What do you think? Do you honestly believe you could get away with ignoring the King of Heroes himself?
[ Another disdainful glance around the paperwork and everything in here... ]
You also really need to find a way to expand this room and make it more suitable for someone of your station. It's far too lacking.

[ maybe he wanted to see the king, and this was the quickest way to call him over. no, that was definitely the case.
as for the state of the room...well, it definitely is something that could use a work on, but solomon shakes his head regardless. ]
I rarely leave a Foundation site, King Gilgamesh. [ he smiles sheepishly. it pretty much is little more than a studio sized apartment, far too humble for someone that used to be king. ] Because of that, I imagined that it would be easier for me to have only what I needed in each site and leave the rest to the others.

I suppose I can't blame you, can I? For being eager to see me.
[ Something about it made him smirk as he said those words. And for a moment he appeared quite smug, even if he disapproved greatly of the size of the other king's lodgings.
Gilgamesh moved closer to the other as well, placing a hand lightly on the desk, fingers dancing on top of the surface as the distance between them shrunk. ]
You need to live in a bigger-sized residence than this. Even if it need not be a mansion, this was far too small for someone like yourself, no matter your reasons. Somehow I expected you to live modestly, but I refuse to allow you to continue on like this. If I have to spoil you rotten myself, so be it.

[ perhaps it was the way they were now, still riding on the high of their passion, that made solomon not want to stay too far apart from the other king. even though they were two people that could not be tethered to each other for too long, it was that which made their relationship so exciting.
he takes a step forward, settling his hand over gilgamesh's, fingers intertwining as he, too, makes the effort to shorten the distance between them. ]
You spoil me with your mere presence, King Gilgamesh. I feel that if I continue to ask, then God will surely punish me for my selfishness.
[ but god how he wanted to ask for more and, in return, give as much as he could as well.
but solomon knew that he could never give his entire self to the king. perhaps he could have, at one point-- as a human. but the reality had changed...and he knew that he had to dedicate himself to restoring his new kingdom; restoring the foundation. ]

[ They both had their own lives, and in retrospect, their own businesses to attend to. Solomon's certainly had one that occupied him more often than not. But, that bothered Gilgamesh little—as far as he concerned he could come and go whenever he pleased, and that was that.
That said, when his hand was taken within the others, and their fingers were meshed so—as if they always belonged together—whatever form of distance they had before was negligible as he now leaned forward, seeming to only stop to consider the other's answer. ]
There are indeed some promises you've yet to deliver on. So perhaps for now I should restrain myself from showering you in endless gifts, though don't think it's because I'd believe someone will 'punish' you for it. Far from it.
But, I'll do as I will. I'm not waiting or urging for you to ask for anything.
You will accept a...slight expansion in your living quarters because that too will be necessary. After all, no matter how much I'll end up frequenting this place, this size is hardly permissible for myself to bear should I decide that I were to occasionally stay the night.
[ The diminutive size of the area bothered him this much. Regardless of the other's obligations, regardless of everything that entailed, what the other must do, what Solomon must make up for, it troubled and irritated Gilgamesh. But he'd just act like it only had to do with his ego. There's no way he was going to express anything deeper than that, and so on that thought, he'll also decide to selfishly steal a kiss from the other man. ]

he chuckles softly into the kiss, only pulling back just some centimetres. ]
If it means that I will be able to see you more often, then that is a request that I can accept. I do enjoy architecture, so once things settle...I would not mind creating something that is apt for two kings.
[ if they ever relax, that is. the life of an o5 is never one that is relaxed but despite that, solomon wanted to give himself something that he could enjoy. ]
But for now, all I can offer is my humble apartment and--[ he'll steal a kiss from gilgamesh, smirking. ]--and myself.

You do realize that I will hold you to such words now? So not dare even dreaming of taking them back, Solomon. I can already imagine how glorious such a thing would be, even the design having been conceived in anyone's mind just yet. It'd be naturally such a place that'd make even other fortunate couples mad with jealous just upon looking at its splendor. A royal residence that would be the envy of others who'd dare have the gall to consider themselves a king or queen when in this time those fools may as well be the dust on the bottom of our feet.
[ There was still that twinkle in those red eyes in which seemed to indicate he may have said more if not for the kiss the other gave in return. Or maybe he was just feeling rarely rather pleased at it all; either way he was practically smiling against the other's lips.
And he'll just be slipping his free arm around the other's waist, doing well to keep Solomon close. Though it wasn't like they were about to go pretty far from each other. ]
Still, what a humble offering you've given to me in the interim. Do you think I'd simply accept it under normal circumstances? You're lucky that I've considered your worth great enough in the first place. Though do not be surprised if on the occasion I'll make you visit one of my residences. It'd be a pity if you weren't able to see some kind of splendor before we would be able to enjoy that grand residence of ours in the future.

[ but seeing gilgamesh's eagerness...it's endearing, in a rather strange way. like everything else about the king of heroes it's over the top and full of arrogance, but it's something that makes the o5's heart skip a beat or two, especially when he's kept in place by the hand around his waist.
a place just for the two of them...even though gilgamesh spoke of making the others jealous, solomon was far more romantic. he thought of it as the proof of their union--and even something like that would not be able to come close to show his feelings for him. ]
These aren't normal occasions, though, are they? [ he kisses him again, though this time slower, with more feeling. ] Though I would be a fool not to accept an offer from you if it ever came. And besides, there would be no better inspiration than if it came from you.

...Yes, of course you do. Such a thing would be only natural for a king to possess in the first place.
But how amusing that you believe you haven't displayed it at all. You've already shown that 'pride' of yours to me before this very moment. I witnessed you doing so even in the face of your mistakes, and when you fell to your knees before me. Your stubborn assertions to remain standing until the climax of our heated battle...and what resulted from it—ah, how exquisite it all was.
I'll never forget the beautiful look on your face when you still dared to face me after your defeat.
[ His words were uttered in an inviting tone before the blond returned the kiss, with more passion than earlier. It wasn't exactly in a way someone could consider truly 'slow', what with him also slipping in a kiss against the other's neck. When he pulled away slightly, it was almost as if the smirk had never gone; Gilgamesh still envisioned the looks of envy that would be thrown their way. But he too knew that such a grand monument wouldn't still be enough to sum up all his feelings for the man.
And of course, he's more than receptive to such praise. ]
Naturally. As the King of Heroes, I would be the best source of inspiration there is. I'll simply tell you that it won't be long. I've never been a patient man, you know this.
